Well, they are a for profit company. They want your nickels and your times.
That being said, the prices are in line with what others are charging.
Both Microsoft and Sony charge for online. I'll reserve further judgment until I see how it works and what it costs.
A joycon is 50 dollars which is perfectly in line with what Sony charges for the Move, and I believe the Joy Con is a superior controller.
The msrp for the XBox One and PS4 controllers are each 59.99. Ten dollars more for motion sensing (the PS4 may have this?) and HD rumble. The PS4 dualshock is actually 65 in some colors.
A move/dual shock 4 charging station is priced at 30 dollars.
If you want to claim the whole industry is nickel and diming people, maybe. But the prices are in line with industry standards.
