For me...

1) Continued focus on local multiplayer
The Switch actually lauches with two controllers. It's been a while since that happened. Part of the reason I've always been drawn to Nintendo is local mp options. I love playing Mario Kart and Smash Bros. and Runbow with friends and family in the same room.

Actually that's a cause of concern for me. I haven't seen any footage of 4 players multiplayer games on it yet.

Considering the Switch comes with 2 joy-cons and the fact the you can connect to other consoles via wi-fi, I fear they will focus solely on 2-player mutliplayer and online, while 3 to 4 couch multiplayer will be considered an afterthought.

I believe the system supports 8 player local multiplayer.
