After yesterday's hype, reality sets in. The PS4 can be had for around 300 euros, usually bundles or with a second controller. Games are cheap now, 3 years worth of gaming. No matter how u slice it, PS4 is better value for a new gamer.

299 euros, with Arms or 1 2 Switch bundled would've been sweet especially since they show off the Joycons. They did with Wii Sports and Nintendoland so why not now.

This console is for Nintendo hardcore fans who want Zeruda at launch, Splatoon 2 in summer and Mario in the holidays.

I get Zelda at launch. For Wii U.

There's almost no reason for me as a Wii U owner to get Switch around the launch window.

I can get a PS4 slim for 259,-€. And no, that's not the cheapest price, it's a random Amazon offer. More or less the same for Xbox One though you can get those for about 200€ more often.

As long as you see Switch as a home console and not a premium handheld it's quite expensive with 'no games'.
