Looking at the comments here, it seems like a general negative view or uncertain about its success.
Some are expressing the view that launch pricing is just to rinse big Nintendo fans of money and by Christmas it would have had a big price reduction.
I question the concept of rinsing early adopters of money because shortly after launch sales drop off considerably often pushing retailers to abandon stocking the product in their store and forcing the Switch into a niche product position only sold in game stores. Exposure in a wider range of stores including supermarkets is important.
A huge fall in sales post launch will also damage developers confidence in Switch meaning less content.
The Switch has a low performance level but will sell at higher prices for both hardware and games plus with minimal choice of games and with less discounting due to cost of cartridges.
It's also at risk of early emulation. The low performance level means PC emulators could come sooner than previous Nintendo designs.
Some other criticism was questioning whether people actually wanted full fat big releases for portable gaming. The whole point of the Switch really stating no one has really asked for this.
The cost of the advanced controllers was also criticised. A lot of technology to pay for that people may not want or need.
I can see many large retailers abandoning Switch shortly after launch.
