Not necessarily. Releasing on more platforms just gives the potential to sell more games, it doesn`t guarantee it. In some cases (smaller games) the additional attention it would get as an exclusive rather than a multiplat means it would probably sell less as a multiplat.

Well i disagree. If a game like lets say UC4 came out on PC XB1 it would have sold more. Those that bought it would have still got it and those that don't own a PS4 and want it would have been able to buy it on their platform of choice.
