Oh for sure, because a system that fuses their handheld and console divisions, meaning all the games the 3ds got minimum, much better consumer and developer reception, and with 2 system sellers in 9 months of each other, all of that means the Switch will suffer the same fate as the Wii U because it's not as powerful as the vast minority want it to be. I mean it's not like the inferior (In terms of power) PS1, PS2, or Wii had any trouble dominating their respective generations. Man I swear the posters in these forums really think their opinions are gospel and irrefutable eh, especially when it comes to Nintendo. I mean it's no different from gaming journalist articles, nothing but clickbait/letting off steam. Meanwhile the reception everywhere else on the internet (Youtube, Facebook, Twitter) has been overwhelmingly positive.

PS1/PS2 were relatively close hardware wise to their competetion. Wii wasn't but it had a completely brand new hook and no smartphones/tablets to compete against for the attention of a large demographic, Switch does not have either luxury.

Also Wii was the cheapest console, between the Switch and base PS4 and XB1, Switch might actually be the most expensive.

You can find XB1 and PS4 for under $300 quite easily and that's with a game bundled and a 500GB+ HDD.
