But 2017 is quite obviously the 3DS's last year at least for 1st party Nintendo support and weather you like it or not the whole selling point of the Switch is that it is BOTH a HANDHELD and a home console. The next fire emblem, the next animal crossing, and for gen 8 for Pokémon (even though its very rumoured the next gen 7 games will be on the Switch anyway) where are they going to be released on? Not 6 year old system that's for sure!
