It'll probably do well in Japan. Splatoon, Mario, Zelda, FE, etc. will carry the load within the first year at least, which isn't too shabby. Then who knows what will happen outside of Pokemon and that alone has not ceased to move consoles. Not sure the pulse of NA and Europe since not everyone has tried it out. Plus can you really gauge audiences through the forums alone? In here, most appear negative about it while some on other sites or social media appear to like it so far. Does it translate to sales? Not necessarily, but it's also true vice versa.
