I truly don't see how people think this will bomb. Unless everything we've heard is wrong, portable games will be on the Switch as well, yes? Do we really think a system with consistent mainline Pokemon titles is going to bomb? Not to mention other big series such as Monster Hunter, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, etc.
Switch will be fine. Presentation's disappointing, paid online sucks, and chances are it won't sell great at launch, but over the long haul it'll be fine from a sales standpoint.
