Why not make it 500 indeed. That way they could've put in actual hardware with actual clocks.

Nintendo is not Sony or Microsoft. They don't have a close competitor and their product is unique on the market. They might as well sell it for 500.

You think that when someone wants to buy a console to play games he'll go "Well I could only buy a switch since there's no other choice"? We'll have to agree to disagree on this.
