Nintendo's never been made a fool twice. When they fail, they come back twice as hard. I'd say that my expectations are high and Nintendo could meet them if they play all their cards right. Being the first commercial hybrid from the big 3, there's so much that could go wrong and so much that could go right.

I keep hoping that they don't spend half the stream talking about Wii U ports, that would be a huge fail for me. I want them to show off at least 1 new IP and revivals from Metroid, F-Zero, and of course the next iterations in Mario, Zelda, etc.

I'm going to be frank with you, if 3rd party is what you want, if WESTERN third party is what you want...you might want to set up camp with Playstation, Xbox, and PC. There will be a lot of smaller western devs making games for Switch, and maybe 7th gen and a handful of 8th gen ports but Switch is mainly going to be a Japanese content system. It's essentially going the be the 3DS on crack in terms of software.

Battery life, I'm expecting 3-5 hours which most devices do these days. I think the Switch is going to be something that lasts a very long time at Nintendo.
