I was a proud day 1 owner of the Nintendo WiiU, I was very skeptical of the WiiU until I saw the WiiU exclusive Rayman legends the game sold me on the WiiU potential. Little did I knew that Rayman Legends would do more than just miss the WiiU release windows but eventually get delayed to September 2013.

Looking back now I would never have expected that the WiiU launch would have been the height of success for that consoles and never anticipated the many software’s droughts, complete disappearing act by 3rd parties and the life cycle would only last less than 4 years. (WiiU pretty much life cycle ended with the Nintendo Switch announcement in my books)

Here we are less then 2 hours away from a Nintendo stream promising a new day for Nintendo and hyping the start of yet a new hardware cycle for Nintendo. The painful early death of the WiiU can be replace by possibly the best Nintendo launch lineup in its history.  The Nintendo switch doesn't seem to have the attention of most third parties. But, they might of gotten the attention of the one Third party that can make a difference with Square Enix.

My main concern going into tonight stream is battery life, price and third party support. Nintendo can really get me on board If the Nintendo switch can combine my 3DS and WiiU and finally get decent third party support (talking about games that I can't get or want to play on PS4/Xbox 1). I just hope that Nintendo is straight foward with us tonight and answer our questions rather then leave us with more uncertainty.
