The game license belongs to Marvel now and it was Marvel who asked Sony to publish a new game and to do so like a first party title. So yeah, the game does have a fairly sizeable bidget. Its Spiderman, and Spiderman is pretty much tethering on being big again with the MCU. |
Why would they limit their user base to such an extent? Insomniac Games has made games for other consoles as well. Bad business move if you ask me. There's not a single advantage I can think off that requires Sony to publish the game.
