Well, no. You can't say that the GOP is completely behind Trump. He's been and is still largley at war with the leaders in the party (Ryan, Rubio, Cruz, etc). They don't like or agree with each on much. That said, every Republican lawmaker wants to get rid of Obamacare. It's a unpopular program and easy to rally against. As far as the consequences of removing borders, while yes it does remove states control, it also removes government overreach and regulation which are GOP goals.
