The last thing Metroid needs are puzzles. 3D Metroid is fine at atmosphere. What it's bad at is movement mechanics, which is Insomniac's specialty.

What? But Metroid is filled with puzzles... traditionals and non-traditionals. Even getting from one place to another can be a puzzle in Metroid. I also don't think movement mechanics are a problem (or maybe I didn't get what you said right).
