Exactly, it's happening from all sides. A load of Sony fans have voted Sony games up but soon Nintendo games will be voted back up and so on. When you get to 1000+ votes then each vote won't change things much. Ocarina has dropped (likely because Sony people give it 1) but only be 0.6 points or something and it will climb back up when more people vote properly.

Whatever kind of statistical methods I try to use people can and will still abuse it. Remove all 10s and 1s and everyone will vote 9s and 2s. Take means and medians and look at 95%-5% ranges and people will still abuse. The way to tackle this "abuse" is to have a representitive sample of people on the site. Maybe if people post links on MS forums that Halo is down at 85th or whatever it may encourage MS people to join and vote. The "problem" is that fundamentally we do seem to have a Nintendo bias as a site. It's not intentional or desirable but just the way things pan out - any amount of sophisticated statistical work won't change this - Nintendo games will generally score higher.

The only way to balance is to get more MS / Sony people on the site - so help me promote it on forums and so on. People love to vote and sign up for stuff like this, lets encourage a better balance on the site by getting people on here to vote and try to put their opinion across...

i think that maybe this site have more nintendo fans because the numbers looks good for nintendo right now, and few sony and xbox fans because the numbers looks very bad for this companies, a sony fan for example dont want to see that the ps3 is in 3rd place of this gen, and the xbox fans dont want to see that the xbox sell poor in japan, for that is more difficult get more Microsoft and sony fans, but i try to promote this site in this MS/Sony forums.
