Sometimes they unlock things in game other times they are just medals (like Animal Crossing: New Leaf badges). That was quite aggressive. And you've got me wrong.
Actually, I was really talking about a proper online architecture. I don't have time to go after a higher gamerscore just to "brag about". When I had a PS3, I never once got a platinum trophy. That's not my kind of thing. When I finish a game, the only thing that can make me keep interest is the old-style collectibles, things that Nintendo still have plenty on its games.
