Can you atleast do your research before throwing down doom claims. Xbox will always exist aslong as there's a console market. Xbox entered the competition to support the Direct X API. If Xbox folded than majority of 3rd party devs wont use DX. Thats a hit at MS corporation. Xbox doesnt have to be the best selling console. It just has to compete to convince devs to use DX and wave the DX flag as a primary option of APIs
