I am confused.  Everybody on this site keeps saying that the Switch will have a sub-400 Gflop graphics processing capabilities and yet this is the second time as many days that I have seen reports saying that the Switch will have 1 Tflop performance.  What am I missing here?

A 1 Tflop performance would be amazing for the Switch.  It would basically put the Switch on par with the XBox One and would likely guarantee 3rd party support.  Clearly this is too good to be true...

It is because Nvidia can be disingenuous  (something I have been accused of by the way ) about the way they show the power of there chips. Notice the FP 16 in the image below. Everyone else uses FP 32 to show the flop potential of there chips. It basically means the chip is half as powerful than they say it is.
