Reading what MS are saying, Xbox games will no longer be defined by generations. Games will be forward and backwards compatible, you pop the game in and depending what version of console you own, the game will run at that spec. Like PC.

Think back a while and you'll realise I'm not thinking of this wrong. I've said for a long time now that the Scorpio will be a PC which is another reason why MS could risk talking in terms of a new generation: 'A new generation of consoles'. Get it? Word play and something MS does habitually. They'd be talking about a new type of console (PC in a box) but be able to blur the line enough to stay on both sides of the narrative.

I agree with that. Just not so much with comment before.
