I think you're looking at Scorpio the wrong way. It'll have more in common with a gaming PC than a gaming console.
Reading what MS are saying, Xbox games will no longer be defined by generations. Games will be forward and backwards compatible, you pop the game in and depending what version of console you own, the game will run at that spec. Like PC.
