We shouldn't expect to see Pokemon Stars at the Switch event.

well this may be true but its more likely be at E3 than in a few days, is what I think we are all going for .

I think we assume its late 2017 and E3 wil be soon after the Switch launch so to keep up momentum something like Pokemon could be reserved for that event.

But fair point (I am assuming you are correct about the no Pokemon at e3 thing :) )

You can always rewatch Nintendo's E3s if ya don't believe me! You'll find that X/Y was actually the first mainline Pokemon game to get coverage during an E3 presentation.
