are some of you in like Australia sure your preorder is official? not sure how a store could potentially accept mass preorders on a product that has not been ofificially unveiled in terms of price point and bundles (different SKUs?), they probably at this point wouldn't even know how many they're going to have on release day in terms of fulfilling preorders

I would imagine some of you have like a PRE pre-order in which you'll maybe have first dibs to officially preorder on the day that unlocks. Because at least in North America there is nowhere you can preorder the item yet (logical since nothing has really been announced).

Never heard of preordering a system without providing personal details either in terms of billing and things either

granted the likes of Gamestop has done official preorders to people before and then not had the systems available at launch for those who had already paid and things so maybe I shouldn't be surprised on these insanely early supposed 'pre orders'

as for the OP's question. 1 or 2, 1 definitely for me, maybe one for the sister assuming the price point is under 300$. However if Zelda ends up not being a launch title (I think it clearly will be but who knows) then I wouldn't preorder at all

I'm in Australia. EB Games here takes preorders that require a $50 deposit. The way it works is if 2000 people preordered but only 1500 units are shipped then the first 1500 people to preorder will get one. If there is a 2nd shipment of say 1000, then those other 500 preorders are fulfilled and 500 are put on shelves.

If there isnt a 2nd shipment (say collectors editions) then they would just miss out and be refuned.

As for multiple SKUs, Im not 100% sure for consoles. I know for games with collectors editions its $50 deposit for best tier, $30 deposit for middle tier if there is one and $10 for standard.

Also the price listed right now is $999. Basically if its more expensive than $999 we still get it for $999, but it will likely be sub $400 so they really arent taking much of a risk there
