SIE North West and SIE London Studios are also both dedicated to VR development with already confirmed but not announced VR games in development.
The reason Sony underestimated the demand on PSVR is because you need to try it first. Their tactic was to increase the demand and offer over time with more and more people beeing able to expierence VR (by a friend, in a supermarket and so on).
There was a survey about VR with following results:

1. Havnt tried it but im interested (38%)
2. Havnt tried it and I dont care about it (32%)
3. Have tried it and its amazin (18%)
4. Have tried it and beein interested (10%)
5. Have tried it and dont like it at all (2%)
Most people that tried it like it or are at least interested. Just 2 % of the people who tried it really disliked it. But 32% of the people that never tried it arnt even interested and thats the big problem. Many people still think this is the next kinect, 3D or 3D. And they wont think different as long as they havtn expierenced it for themselfs.
