and the 6 movies. I was meaning to start from TNG, but after seeing the first 5 movies with the original characters and liking them I gave the series also a go on Netflix. I'm glad I didn't skip TOS, despite being 50 years old I enjoyed it very much. There's some adjustment needed when you watch something that old (especially when it's scifi), but it stops being a problem a few episodes in. It's the characters that make the show, and there's so much synergy between them. Love how much memorable quotes and memes it started. I saved movie 6 for the last because I knew it was the last of TOS, and damn it was a proper sendoff.
25 years later.
and now I feel sad and empty, I always have this feeling when I finish a good movie, show or game. :/ Is there anything that can give me the same feels (aside from TNG)? Should I watch the other Star Trek shows, heard DS9 is good but starts slow, should I watch it before TNG, which is considered the best? Other scifi shows on backlog are Farscape and Babylon 5. |
Star Trek The Animated series continues the 5 year mission of the original cast. Star Trek Phase II is a online series of episodes/films with people playing the original cast and sometimes original cast members cameo. It's Also supposed to be the continued voyages of the 5 year mission. Generations is the last mainline film with Kirk,Spock,Scotty. I would reccomend watching all of TNG first tho. Watch them as they were released. I been a Star Trek fan since 1989. This is what I reccomend.
