Did someone hack the voting?

I respect your post. Also this is not a Sony thing, there is also a thread about Zelda PH jumping to the top when it wasn't even out yet. It's not that "a" Sony game has raised to the top that no a problem. It's the fact that in 5 minutes the ten completely change from Nintendo heavy to all Sony. The other thing was that most of these games in the top ten had ratings of 6.5-7.8 now they are all 8.4 or above (in just 5 minutes). Personally it's not a big deal to me, as you can see I tried to disregard the thread after I started it.

 Yeah, I can understand if it's like that.  Personally, I haven't watched the game rankings all that close.  I sorta figured that the minimum post count barrier was hit.  (I think ioi said he placed a minimum vote count on the front page list.  I just figured that those games finally broke that barrier.)  If these have moved all that much though I still find it funny that everyone assumes it was hacked and not the ioi adjusting the algorithm and finally putting in some kind of min/max skimming.

It really could just be that. The biggest thing that made me think it was hacking was the fact that it stops at 10, numbers 11-20 are the orignal 1-10. When 10 Sony games got in the top spots, the numbers stop changing. But ioi will fix it or get rid of it, it doesn't matter cause it's suppose to be fun. So lets have fun!
