What kept Japan afloat from 2006 onwards was the combination of Wii, DS and PSP - if it hadn't been for those consoles, we would have seen a much more steady decline. Japan is moving on towards mobile. It's not like the gaming market is disappearing; it's just shifting away to other platforms
