We HAD it when USA was above 2 others. It was since start of 1990s. And it lead the world to the current sad state.

And now we are in the different times. It seems to me that China is getting ahead of USA from economical side. And Russia - in military. So if Russia and China are allies - USA will be only nr 2 after that alliance. And it will just ruin it.

You know, when we talk about "superpowers", essentially we're talking about who "has the best friends". That's why countries like Turkey or Greece are seen strategically important, as well as trans-atlantic trade. It's hard to see a stronger military alliance than NATO in the foreseeable future (especially when Trump is demanding higher military budget for NATO countries). Also, do not forget India that works as a competitor to China in Asia.
