How will future Super Mario Maker games be on future consoles? without 2nd screen?

I do, it's a welcome change from them churning out NSMB after NSMB trash. Just making a 2d Mario with a Level Editor is so much better, considering all the NSMB games are essentially the same, just with other levels and a new power-up thrown in for good measure.

I fully expect a Mario Maker title on the Switch.

But I what I recall Nintendo already said they are moving away from NSMB and going for different and new type of 2D Mario, so they ditching NSMB in any way, and I dont think that new type of 2D Mario is Mario Maker.
