I've always prefered home consoles and could only afford one system plus games as a kid so I rarely touched a Game Boy back in the days. I did get Pokémon Yellow and Link's Awakening DX for the Color version and have some fond memories of both. My wonderful sister deleted my Pokémon Yellow save file when I was about to battle the Elite Four (or whatever they're called) and with that minor nuisance my Pokémon career also died with that game. But I still get filled up with cosy nostalgia feelings whenever I see 1st gen Pokémon.
