Nintendo has been rather unique in the console industry in that their home systems have typically had a game bundled with it at launch. The N64 and GameCube were exceptions, but the NES had Super Mario Bros., the SNES had Super Mario World, the Wii had Wii Sports, and the Wii U had Nintendo Land. However, their handhelds have typically not had a game bundled with it at launch. The original Game Boy had Tetris, but the GBA, DS, and 3DS had nothing packed in at launch, with all the bundles coming later. Since the Switch is a hybrid system, that makes one wonder which outcome is more probable: will it have a pack-in game at launch, or will it be by its lonesome in the box, with the bundles coming later on.

Well, what do you guys think? Will Nintendo reveal a launch bundle for the Switch, or do you think it'll be standalone for a while, with all games sold separately? Personally, I think it might help attract customers, but I really think at best it's a 50/50 chance. I guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks.

that's not even really true:

WiiU Basic: 8 Gb of storage, $299.99

WiiU Deluxe: 32 Gb of storage, Nintendo Land, $349.99

it's not a bundle in the same way as mario(s), tetris, wii sports if you have to spend an extra $50 to get it.
