A decent idea. Are you going to make a new thread every day?
For the NES;
Mega Man 2
Duck Hunt
Soccer
The Legend of Zelda
Super Mario Bros.
These are my favorite games on that system, and each has it's own story. The biggest stories are those of Duck Hunt, and Soccer. With Soccer I mean the black-box game.
Duck Hunt is likely to be the first game I ever played, and I and my cousin played it many times. Over and over again. Due to the lightgun, it was a very immersive experience. Later, when the NES was moved to our grandmother's house, so we could also have some entertainment there, we played the black-box Soccer game over and over again, being especially amused by the half-time cheer leaders since that doesn't actually happen at half-time in real football matches.
Of the other three games, Super Mario Bros. is also one of the games I had played back in the day, but didn't appreciate it until much later. I guess it was too complicated for our young selves and the simplicity of Duck Hunt and Soccer was more suited. I only played The Legend of Zelda and Mega Man 2 much later, when I was already an avid gamer, and after already knowing plenty about the respective series. In Zelda's case, I only went back to it on my NES about 5 years ago. Needless to say, both are classic.
