I noticed that too. The fact that I actually managed to finish 26 games this year is practically unprecedented, and even that number is the result of me playing a lot of very short games like Limbo and Leo's Fortune. Seeing lists with over 40 or 50 games just reminds me that I will likely never be able to reach those kinds of numbers.
