Um, Pokemons sellls well normally. This could just as easily be tied to the hype train that S and M generated in the months of buildup more than Go.

The preorder fever didn't start until after Go launched.  And it's not just Sun and Moon, everything Pokemon has become big again.  And besides, Pokemon may sell well normally but this is the best start a Pokemon game has ever had to my knowledge.  So yeah, all that could just so happen to coincide with Go's launch but that would be quite the coincidence.
