Let's hope that the Switch can justify Ubisofts's unwavering confidence in it. Personally, I am surprised to hear that the Switch will be getting any AAA ports at launch given it's rumored hardware limitations. This is giving me hope for at least one of the following to happen:

1) The rumors about the Switch's low graphical capabilities are incorrect and the Switch is faster then expected.
2) Ubisoft has reason to believe that the Switch has some innovative capabilities that could make it into a Wii-like success in spite of its poor hardware, making it worthwhile to butcher their games graphically just to have them on the platform.

I just don't see Ubisoft going in blind into this after the flop that was the Wii U. It made sense for Ubisoft to have confidence in Nintendo going into the Wii U, but this time they should be a lot more cautious about trusting Nintendo especially if they're going with severely under-powered hardware again. It makes me think that Ubisoft might know something that we don't.

3) Like some rumours and infos suggesting, despite Switch is underpowered to XB1/PS4, it has very modern tech/architecture, all modern engines support and great tools/APIs, and all that make porting/scaling games for Switch realtivly easy, espacily compared to Wii U for instance.

Also, Switch list of partners and supporters is much bigger than Wii Us even than 3DSs one.
