The thought that people really want a 3/4/5g model and are actually willing to pay for it is disturbing. Where the hell were you when my precious Vita was failing? Just hook it up to your phone via wireless hotspot and move along. And don't act like you cannot do it... because if you could pay for this feature, you can do it with your phone.

Truth is, this feature is not necessary and will have very little measure on the success of Switch. I guess a few people will be upset because Switch will not offer every feature known to man ever (I was very mad it would not mow my lawn... shit, I have a huge yard) but I doubt those people matter.

I have two 3G Vita's and Vita Slim. I have been on board for the advancement of mobile tech for years. The 3G Vita was on course to bring a brilliant future, but thanks to the old gaurd at Sony, it was killed in favor of the great money hole that is Xperia.

Asking for 3G/LTE is not some far fetched wow, it should be a teleporter too joke. Not having a 3G/LTE option is the joke. This is 2017, 3G is old and cheap technology, and 4G is in it's prime years. This is a basic feature in every non gaming elctronic device on the market.

The only reason not to include mobile 4G/3G is to cut costs.

No mobile data, severely underclocked hardware, low 720P screen.

If you can't upgrade the battery, then I would hope the device is water proof.
And if it isn't water proof, then it is a stupid design decision, lithium battery's have a finite life-span, it is a matter of *when* they fail, not if.

My 13-year-old GBA SP runs just fine! Sure, the battery isn't as strong as it used to be, but I can still squeeze 5-6 hours out of that lil' sucker. Never changed the battery.

On top of that, I'm sure you will be able to change the battery. It will be just a little more complicated. Just like with the Dual Shock 3 and 4. On paper, you can't change the battery. I did it multiple times though. When a replaceable battery is that important to you, 5 minutes of work with a screwdriver shouldn't be too bad.

About 4G: Sucks for every gamer who still hasn't a smartphone. Both of them.

We have to see about the battery, not sure if it is just not supported by Nintendo, or if it is intergrated in the MB, which would be stupid.

As for 4G and Smartphones. I don't get how people are ok, with paying $600 for a phone, and another $300 for a gaming device, when they could get everything in one package from a $400 version that offers both. Why are we carrying around 2  devices that have identical hardware inside, but each is gimped as to require the other. This is absolute madness.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
