How will future Super Mario Maker games be on future consoles? without 2nd screen?

While docked it can use both the direct imput from the controllers or the motion controll through the minicontrollers, while undocked it can use te more precise and fast touchscreen. It won't be able to work the same way, but I'm sure it will work enough that Nintendo will approve the project anyway.

Yes, same controle options in both modes, having touch screen in portable mode goes against that and they would need to make seperate controles for touch screen. But like I wrote, in any case I don't see this game on Switch.
