When did Sony say they would pick a new architecture for the PS5? I hope they keep using the x86-architecture instead of picking a new one with no/limited backwards compatibility.
ARM is higher scalable? x86 never had problems with scalability and performance profiles.
ARM is more efficient in some scenarios, but has it even proven itself in devices much more powerful than an iPad Pro or a Nvidia Shield TV?
