I don't really support the concept, but by the same token I don't agree with the notion that "free speech" means turning back the clock 30 years. Socities evolve and change, and generally for the better, yesterday wasn't so great for a lot of people. The only socities that don't change are dictatorships.

I also don't agree with the notion of "whiny men", which to me is basically like the same group of SJWs these men complain about. The irony is lost on most of them though, they're not "alpha males", they are in fact "beta males", and if you don't want to me to be politcally correct about you can say they sound me like (gulp) bitches.

And no, having grown up playing sports I've heard things that probably would turn a lot of people green, so lol, I'm not some precious snowflake about language. I've called opponents bitch, fag, pussy, made fun of their mothers, etc. etc. to get into their heads. Some of it I regret today, some of it I don't. There was always a line though that I wouldn't cross.

I do think kids today should be put into sports or take up hobbies like weight training and not sit around at home all day playing video games. That's what gives you a back bone, you need to experience some pain, but I don't agree with the analogy that bullying of kids should be allowed wholesale, that can go over a line pretty quick and some kids quite frankly are just not equipped to deal with relenetless bullying.

Also I think looking at movie characters for guidance isn't really helpful, how is that not relevant to the topic? Look at real people, real high achievers who literally came from nothing, those people are usually the best guides, Oprah Winfrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc. etc.

Thank you for the clarification. I like the fact that you try to find the middle ground between left and right.

Just a small suggestion; don't answer rants with your own rant.  Or at least state your side before the rant.

That's actually the real trick I think, life is really about balance, finding some kind of middle ground most of the time. Being ideological about life doesn't work because life doesn't really give a fuck about your ideologies in the first place.
