Believe me, I tried to restart the game more than once, but it didn't work for me. I wish they had an option to turn off the auto-attacks, similar to the change in settings to "Manual" that you can do in The Last Story. Reading about how great the story is supposed to be only helped to add fuel to my frustration with the game.
