Strategic I could give you.... but thatsmore because western combat systems seem to think bombarding you with complex systems to micromange is the same as having depth......
but japanese combat systems are usually purely based on skill. the depth comes from how good you are.
Only western game that has a respectable combat system is God of War and maybe prince of persia.
