Playing Nier Automata makes me sad for the sad state of combat in Western games

Witcher 3 and its simplistic combat gets a pass for its expansive nature and strong setting. I just came across my first cyclops, and sweet Christ almighty their hitbox is pure nonsense.

Some well designed and fine tuned melee combat is sorely missed in it and other WRPGs.
