Unlike PG's games, Drakengard/Nier is a narrative-heavy series with a deep lore. I would rather an increase in visuals/graphics over a minor responsiveness advantage for a more memorable experience. Hell I might opt for a 30fps option even without any visual upgrade!

Well I guess it depends on the person, but the fluidity of 60fps on this game looks so good.

The ability to move around, shoot and slash people up and then do the evade mechanic and swap to the heavy sword and unleash hell is amazing. The 60fps allows all this to happen smoothly.
