To me (maybe not for you), Star Wars has always been a bit of a fairy tale with character types, a sense of imagination and wonder, a grand adventure spanning wonderful environments, epic music, and fantastic technology.
I liked this film. I actually liked it more than the phoned in Force Awakens. But I didn't love it.
