with both handheld and home console dev teams from Nintendo working on this they might have enough game output to compensate for a lack of western 3rd party development, but it could be fatal if many japanese 3rd parties went from 3DS to iOS/Android
to make the Switch a viable platform for development they really have to push it into the market hard and I hope they do that with a very good launch line-up and a low price right out the gate
that they missed the 2016 holiday season and Pokémon Sun/Moon release (Switch should have launched at that point with a clearly superior version of the game) is pretty unfortunate imo
