I think people are too worried about specs. To the point of losing their mind. Isn´t software what makes a great system? Think about the 3ds situation. It has "shit" specs compared to Vita but in terms of software its library is killer. The Nintendo Switch is going to unify all Nintendo games/productions into a single platform. It probalby won´t get cutting-edge costly third party games, but it will get all those great handheld franchises that made the 3ds so notorious and probably a great offer of indie games too. The success of the Nintendo Switch relies a lot more on its library than on its specs. Nintendo needs to keep a great flow of game launches in the next 2/3 years and invest a good money on marketing/advertsiment if they want the device to be successful. Right now, we don´t know much about what they have been producing. I´d say we should neither be so hyped nor too pessimistic about it until we discover the real specs and the game lineup, and that won´t come until the January presentation.

I think it is every bit our right to complain about specs when that really all we got. I'd love to talk about the new Xenoblade but they haven't shown it off yet. Nor any real footage for games on the system other than BOTW, and frankly we've talked that to death.
