Great software needs a good machine. Besides Mario Kart 8 and Mario Galaxy, the best games Nintendo ever made were made on previous generations, on machine that were cutting edge at the time. And you can't MK8 and Galaxy would have been even better on a more powerful system. There is nothing wrong with having great games made with great graphics. There was a time when we had both on Nintendo system, games like Rogue Squadron, Perfect Dark, Pikmin, Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkness, Luigi's Mansion, Super Smash Bros Melee, Ocarina of Time, I don't think there is anything wrong with asking that Nintendo start to care about both again. |
Am I whining when I say I want a system that can at least get SOME third-party support? I would really like to have some current gen games on the go. Am I asking for too much? But after seeing how underclocked the Switch is all I can possibly hope for now is some last gen games I can play on the go. It's something, anyways. A portable Mass Effect game would be nice. Maybe a portable BioShock.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!
