I´m on the same boat. Right now, I don´t think Switch specs will be a huge problem. I´m a lot more concerned about the game lineup.
I found it funny how some people are simply ignoring the huge 3ds audience. Nintendo is aiming to unify its customers into a single device and there are no shortage of highly-successful franchises on the 3ds that will probably get thei next installments on the Switch.
If this little baby gets the next Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Splatoon etc. ... and franchises like Monster Hunter, Yokai Watch, Layton etc. I can´t see it begin a complete failure.
