Falling for hype usually happens because you weren't informed enough and/or you purposely ignored information/negative possibilitys. Wont lie, this has happened to me a few times, but in my defense it's because some games can be more enjoyable when you go into them blind. Okay, fine, it's also because I was a fanboy that I brushed off the bits of negative info I did hear about lel. But anyway, you'll never have this problem as long as you inform yourself. Despite saying that, I still plan on going into BotW blind!
