The point of the Switch isn't power, it's portability. The standout feature is being able to play the game you're playing at home wherever you please: in college between class sessions or on the train or on a plane as was shown in the reveal.
I'm liking the Switch since I'd love to be able to play a game whether I'm in bed, my backyard, or in front of my television.
