Why the Nintendo Switch's hardware specs don't worry me

Except it wouldn't be, because it has all of the Nintendo exclusives, experiences only available to that powerful Nintendo console, plus all the regular third party stuff (that brings in the casuals) running on par with PS4/XB1. I don't see how being inferior in terms of power makes it stand out, aside from maybe " wow, this game run so well on this weak console."

The point of the Switch isn't power, it's portability. The standout feature is being able to play the game you're playing at home wherever you please: in college between class sessions or on the train or on a plane as was shown in the reveal.

I'm liking the Switch since I'd love to be able to play a game whether I'm in bed, my backyard, or in front of my television.
